Who we are

Hormone Signal Blog (hormonesignalblog.com) is an independent educational publication about physician-supervised online hormone care. We are not a healthcare provider, we do not sell products, and we do not offer medical advice.

What data we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, email addresses, or health information. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects aggregated usage data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, referring website, and time on page.

Cookies and consent

Non-essential cookies are disabled by default. Google Analytics 4 only loads after you press "Accept analytics" in the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics script is injected and no analytics cookies are written. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so we do not ask again; clearing your browser storage resets it.

We use no advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels, and no cross-site trackers. IP anonymisation is enabled on our Google Analytics configuration.

Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for analytics is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time by declining the banner or clearing your browser storage. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California rights (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. California residents may request disclosure of the categories of information collected and request deletion of it.

Data processors and retention

Analytics processing is performed by Google. Aggregated analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months. Our hosting and content delivery providers process server logs for security and reliability purposes only.

Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
